Description: An old Solomon Islands spear.
The palmwood shaft decorated with incised motif; and cane binding attaching the las remaining bone barb.
Weathered patina with some loss to the cane binding and the bone barbs.
Note that the shaft is joined at the centre section by a steel pin, which can be unscrewed to facilitate economical shipping.
