Egyptian terracotta overlaid with plaster face of a male, rendered in typical Hyksos style; large almond shaped eyes with heavy cosmetic lines, broad nose, arching brows, full set lips, all framed by a triangular shaped face. Traces of brown pigment still remaining.

 

Origin:

Hyksos period, 15th to 16th dynasty, circa 1720-1570 B.C.
