A Western Asiatic bronze ceremonial object, the flat, circular openwork design depicting a master-of-animals flanked by two mythical beasts resembling human-headed lions; the original bronze handle, terminating in a coiled bronze loop, was riveted to the circular portion in antiquity (the verdigris patina across this section is consistent with the patina on other sections of the openwork design).
