A rare A Mesopotamian bronze duck bill axe. interestingly cast with raised ridges running around the pierced holes and raised central midrib. This example appears to be votive or belonging to a person of high status as the blade is dull and appears to have not had an edge.

Origin:

Circa 2nd Millennium B.C., Mesopotamia or Western Iran

Dimensions:

Length: 9.7 cm / Width 8.5 cm

Condition:

Heavily oxidised, in good condition. Presented on custom made stand.
