Description

A stone epitaph in two sections, dating from the period of the Empress Wu Ze Tian of the Tang dynasty.
The inscription describes the life of a government official's wife, remembering her good deeds and giving the date when she passed away, the place she was buried and the name of the empress. The epitaph would have been placed inside the tomb for identification and for glorification of the deceased.
Small sections rejoined, otherwise intact.
